Daylight Savings is coming up, so be sure to set your clocks forward on March 8th!
Don’t forget to set your clocks 1 hour ahead when you go to bed on Saturday, March 8. Daylight savings time begins at 2:00am on Sunday.
Originally proposed by a New Zealand insect collector in 1895, it wasn’t adopted until 1916 by Germany and Austria-Hungary as a way to conserve coal during World War I. The United States didn’t practice daylight savings time until 1918. Arizona and Hawaii are the only states that do not observe it.
