31st Annual Senior Games – Yuma, AZ
January 9 – February 26 2015

30 events, hundreds of active seniors, and one winner to take the gold! Elite athletes over 50 years old are qualified to participate and compete against their peers. The senior games commence with a colorful opening ceremony. Athletes pledge to the spirit of competition and friendship. This mantra has been around since the organization was founded and is what draws the crowds every year. As always, non-athletes are more than welcome to spectate and cheer on their favorite participants!

The PHS Philadelphia Flower Show – Philadelphia, PA
February 28 – March 8
This Flower Show is the world’s oldest and largest indoor flower show. More than 260,000 people attend annually for the beautiful attractions and exhibits. The show features large-scale gardens, elaborate landscapes and over-the-top floral creations. You’ll be in shopper’s paradise as many of the flowers are available for purchase. The Westminster Kennel Club 139th Annual Dog Show – New York, NY
February 16-17
Dog lovers, this is the event you’ve been waiting for! This annual dog show is the second longest-held sporting event in the United States (the Kentucky Derby takes the title of first). Westminster pre-dates the invention of the light bulb, the automobile, and the zipper. Plan a visit on either day to see the “puptacular” shows. February 16th will host hound, toy, non-sporting and herding groups. February 17th will include sporting, working and terrier groups.

San Francisco Tribal & Textile Arts Show – San Francisco, CA
February 6-8
Artist and ethnographic textile dealer Vichai Chinalai’s will be on exhibit for a limited time. The Arts Show will feature works from Heart of the Brush II: The Installation. Chinalai is renowned for being a self-taught artist with works that showcase a non-traditional style. You’ll be entranced by the paintings which weave together poetry, sacred writing, Asian philosophy and Zen Buddhism.

What at first seemed like a fluke-y, unlikely duo has blossomed into a harmonious friendship. The abstract pairing of Tony Bennet and Lady Gaga now takes the stage. Their show highlights classic jazz standards from their album Cheek to Cheek. Tony and Lady’s duet tour successfully redefined their careers since album’s release last Fall. Chicago Auto Show – Chicago, IL
February 14-22
First staged in 1901, the Chicago Auto Show is the largest auto show in North America; it has been held more times than any other auto exposition on the continent. Exhibitions include: multiple world and North American introductions; a complete range of domestic and imported passenger cars and trucks; sport utility vehicles; and experimental or concept cars.  In total, nearly 1,000 different vehicles will be on display.

Boston Wine Festival – Boston, MA

Join the nation’s longest running wine and food festival. The 2015 season of the Boston Wine Festival kicks off January 9th with the Opening Reception. The event features an all-star lineup of intimate winemaker hosted dinners, seminars and receptions through March 27th.
